2. Consumer Rights under EU Law

As a consumer within the European Union, you benefit from certain fundamental rights regarding online purchases:

Right to Withdraw (Cooling-Off Period)

Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 calendar days after receiving the goods, without providing a reason. This is known as the cooling-off period. If you decide to exercise this right, you must notify us of your decision to withdraw by sending an unambiguous statement (e.g., a letter or email). Conditions for Returns:

  • The product must be returned in its original condition.
  • The return shipping costs will be borne by the customer unless the item is defective or we made an error with the order.

The cooling-off period does not apply to:

  • Customized or personalized items.
  • Sealed goods that cannot be returned for health or hygiene reasons if opened.
  • Digital content provided in a non-tangible form if you have started downloading or streaming the content.

Right to a Refund

If you exercise your right to withdraw from the contract, you will receive a full refund (including the cost of the goods and standard delivery charges) within 14 days from the date we receive the returned goods. However, we can withhold the refund until we receive the returned items or proof that they have been sent back.

Exceptions

Certain goods and services are excluded from the standard withdrawal and refund rights, including:

  • Items that were clearly personalized or made-to-order.
  • Products that are perishable or have a limited shelf life.
  • Sealed goods that have been opened after delivery (e.g., cosmetics, hygiene products) and are not suitable for return for reasons of health or hygiene.

3. Online Dispute Resolution (ODR)

In accordance with Regulation (EU) No 524/2013, the European Commission has set up an Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform for consumers and businesses to resolve disputes arising from online transactions.

Please note that we are not obliged to participate in any dispute resolution process via a third-party dispute resolution body.

We are not responsible for any indirect damages caused by the use of our products. However, our liability is limited to the amount of the original purchase price paid for the item.

6. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms and conditions, as well as any disputes arising from them, will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands, unless applicable laws of your country of residence provide otherwise.

In case of disputes, you have the option to seek resolution through the ODR platform or through local courts in your country.
